Mulling Some Changes

As my handful of readers may or may not have noticed, I haven't been posting on the blog regularly for several months. There are a couple of reasons for this, not the least of which being that my job currently involves staring at a computer screen for about seven and a half hours a day. Needless to say, that kind of puts me off of sitting around at the computer when I get home.

I've also been getting kind of tired of trolling around on cryptozoology, conspiracy, and new age websites in my free time looking for things to post about. It's not that I don't find the subject matter interesting anymore per se, it's more that I don't want to burn through the time I do spend on the internet visiting websites that annoy me.

The long and short is that I'm thinking about taking the blog in a different direction for a while. A few years ago I posted about how much I loved watching Monstervision with Joe Bob Briggs when I was a kid and that should be a pretty strong indication of what I have in mind. I love the hell out of B-movies, so -for a while at least- I'm going to be dredging up the oddest films from my collection to review for your pleasure. There's no firm timeline yet, but I'm going to try to have my first review up by next weekend. Here's a little preview:

Nunchuks + Pornstache = Awesome

In the meantime, why not check out the new and improved website for Joe's Awesome and Tommy Hates Everything, a hilarious podcast by a couple of my pals. If you're lucky, you might even find an episode with your old pal Skippy in it.
